Air Hockey involves strategy, conditioning, stamina, practice and for success, the ability to perform on a consistent basis. These are exactly the qualities necessary for success at most sports involving athleticism.

By playing Air Hockey with you little boy he can learn that sportsmanship involves a striving for success, while maintaining a commitment to being fair, honest, and respectful [and] to following the rules -- all of which is synonymous with being ethical or moral.

Plus! playing Air Hockey is nothing but pure fun!

Our Air hockey game comes with mallets, and a puck.

Our table is a smaller version of a typical air hockey table consisting of a large smooth playing surface, a surrounding rail to prevent the puck and mallets from leaving the table, and slots in the rail at either end of the table that serve as goals.

On pro tables there is usually a puck return. Additionally, tables will typically have some sort of machinery that produces a cushion of air on the play surface, with the purpose of reducing friction and increasing play speed.

Note that our table is not technically a air hockey table since no air is involved, however it has a slick plastic table surface, and is generally accepted as a great fun training toy due to the basic similarity of air hockey gameplay.

The HotFlash 2 and other full-size commercial tables with neon lights and/or painted rails are not approved for USAA play but are still great tables on which to continue to learn the game after your little boy masters our starter air hockey game.
